We collect only what you give us. If you fill out a form on this site, we receive the information you type into it — typically your name, email address, phone number, county, professional credentials, and whatever you write in a message field. If you subscribe to updates, we receive your email address.
If you make a donation, the payment is processed by our donation platform and its payment processor. Your card or bank details go to them, not to us. We receive your name, email address, mailing address where provided, the amount, and the date.
Our web host records standard server information such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested. We do not run advertising trackers or sell data to anyone, ever.
We use what you give us to answer you, to send the update you asked for, to acknowledge and receipt a gift, and to meet the recordkeeping and reporting obligations that come with being a nonprofit and with receiving public funds.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share donor or contact information with other organizations for their own use. We share information only with the service providers who process it on our behalf — our donation platform, payment processor, email service, and web host — and only to the extent they need it to do that work.
We will disclose information when the law requires it, when a court or government agency lawfully compels it, or when it is necessary to protect someone from harm.
Every update email carries an unsubscribe link. One click removes you. We do not add anyone to a list who did not ask to be on it.
Write to us at bwright@ruralhealthandhope.org and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. If you are a donor, we may be required to retain gift records for tax and audit purposes even after a deletion request; we will say so plainly and delete everything we are permitted to delete.
You may ask at any time not to be listed publicly as a donor. We do not publish a donor list at present, and we will not add your name to one without asking.
This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will remove it.
Nothing on this site is a clinical portal. Do not send medical records, diagnoses, or protected health information through a form on this website. If you are seeking treatment, we will direct you to a secure channel. Information here is general and educational and does not create a physician–patient relationship.
This site is served over an encrypted connection and donations are processed by a PCI-compliant provider. No system is perfect, and we will not claim otherwise. We do not store payment card data.
If this policy changes materially we will post the revised version here with a new date.

This site describes facilities, programs, and initiatives at different stages. Some are operating today. Some are in development. Some are planned and not yet begun. Where a program is not operating, we say so. All architectural images of Apexum Medical Village are artist’s renderings of a facility in development at 1115 N. Walcott Street, Jefferson, Texas. They are not photographs of a completed building, and nothing on this site promises a completion date or guarantees that any facility will be built.
Gifts are made to Rural Health and Hope Associates, Inc., a nonprofit corporation exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, EIN 92-3774916. Contributions are deductible to the extent allowed by law. Consult your own tax advisor.
Unrestricted gifts are applied where the need is greatest. A gift designated to a specific purpose is held restricted for that purpose. If a designated project does not proceed by the date stated in a written gift agreement, the donor may redirect the gift within our work or request its return.
Naming recognition is granted only by written gift agreement. Naming recognition is not a property interest, a security, an ownership stake, or a claim against the organization or any facility.
Gifts are generally non-refundable once processed. If you believe a gift was made in error, write to us promptly and we will work with you in good faith.
Adding your name to a clinician or volunteer interest list places you on a list only. It is not an application, an offer, an employment or contractor relationship, a credentialing step, or any commitment by either party.
The content, design, photographs, renderings, and marks on this site belong to Rural Health and Hope Associates, Inc. or are used with permission. Please do not reproduce them commercially without written consent.
We link to outside resources, including crisis lines and government sources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.
The site is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rural Health and Hope Associates, Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of this site.

Contributions are solicited for the general purposes of the organization unless a donor designates otherwise in writing. One hundred percent of a gift made through our online donation platform reaches the organization; the platform charges the organization no fee and is supported by optional contributions from donors to the platform itself.
No professional solicitor or commercial co-venturer is engaged, and no portion of any gift is paid to a third party as a fundraising commission.

Several states require charitable organizations to register before soliciting contributions from their residents. Registration in a state does not imply endorsement, approval, or recommendation by that state. Our registrations are in progress; a donor or regulator seeking the current status of registration in a particular state should write to us and we will answer directly.
